LIVE DIRECTION / RECORD LIVE

Keep the broadcast under control with PVW and PGM.

Watch the live broadcast on the program monitor while preparing the next source on the preview monitor. Make cut and transition decisions by comparing the two screens.

PVW preview

Check the next camera, set, or CG before taking it live. Example: verify the reporter's image and CG information in PVW before opening the live connection.

PGM program

Continuously monitor the live and recorded footage. While preparation continues in PVW, the PGM seen by the viewer remains unaffected.

Cutting and transitioning

Transfer the scene you prepared directly to the program with a cut or transition effect; manage the flow according to the pace of the news.

Live Direction / Record Live

Virtual studio and multi-layer compositions

Arrange the presenter image, set, background, and graphics in layers within the same scene. Manage the broadcast in a controlled manner by preparing the scene in PVW and taking it to PGM.

Chroma key

Combine the footage in front of the green screen with the background. Review the key settings in the preview and adjust them according to the scene. Example: placing a studio presenter at a virtual news desk.

Multi-layered compositions

Stack camera, video, logo, and lower-third layers. Example: showing the live feed in the side window and the news headline in the lower third simultaneously.

Set and background

Assign video, visual decor, and backgrounds to scenes; keep the program's look consistent by applying blur, light, and color adjustments to the decor.

[DRAFT] The scope of features in the current version will be verified by the product owner.

RECORD LIVE · CONNECTION

NDI and studio transmission

Bring network sources into the control room, share the program output, and reuse the studio layout you prepared on another computer.

NDI sources and outputs

Add NDI video feeds from cameras, computers, or graphics workstations on the same network to the source list and prepare them in PVW. Send the program output as NDI to other systems. Example: Include a graphics computer from a remote desk in the control room without running cables.

[PLACEHOLDER] Actual screenshot: Studio import/export window. Alt text: “Record Live studio export window”

Studio import and export

Export studio elements such as sets, backgrounds, frames, and lower thirds; import them on another computer to continue working with the same layout. Example: Move the election studio prepared in the main control room to a backup computer.

DRAFT NOTE: The actual scope of studio transfer (whether it includes transferred items, media files) and details of NDI support will be verified during the product review.
