EFFECTS AND IMAGE PROCESSING · TRACKING

Person tracking and framing

Use tracking tools to keep a moving speaker in the frame during an interview or to follow a face that needs to be hidden throughout the scene. Automatic detection offers a starting suggestion; you are always in control to review and edit the results.

Select the person, start tracking

Mark the person to be followed in the clip. The tracking result is reflected in the keys on the timeline; for example, you can keep a reporter walking and talking in the field centered in a vertical social media cut.

Fine-tune the framing

Correct position and crop values from the keyframe windows. Smooth out the motion by adding and deleting keys on missed frames.

Review the results

Automatic detection may not work perfectly in every scene. Before preparing for broadcast, check the tracking and blur areas in the preview and edit them manually if necessary.

Lighting settings

Help the viewer see details more clearly by adjusting the light in images that were shot in dark scenes or are too bright.

3D Light

Highlight the speaker or the scene by adding a directional light effect to the image. Scope to be verified during product review. [Content to be verified]

Example usage: Combine field footage shot at different times of the day into a consistent look within the same news package.
